Biography

Stephen grew up in west Tennessee as the second of ten children. During high school, he taught himself some Hebrew and decided that he should go into biblical studies. He earned a BA in biblical languages from Union University in Jackson, TN, where he met his wife. In 2015, they got married and moved to the Chicago area. Stephen graduated with his MA in biblical exegesis from Wheaton College in 2017, and his PhD in New Testament from Wheaton College in 2023. Stephen and his wife enjoy board games, watching old movies, riding and racing their bicycles, and playing with their cat.
